Tourbike.net is a peculiar entity created and conceptualised by the tiny mind of its creator who likes to speak in plural form. A complex, paradoxical mind who is often misunderstood and is viewed as dim and shallow. A person who hates trying to justify his life to people who are just not in his life. However, as with most psychosis the battle is an internal one in which the battle is sometimes confused with non-existent foes that populate the soul.

As with many things this idea to create a website was one of total curiosity and necessity to develop new skills for the tourbike.net ageing creator, who during the years gone by of 2001, found himself on the scrap heap of life; barely aged 26. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your viewpoint) he found a farm to work on for the summer and armed with 100 pounds he set off on the last of his possessions: a bicycle.

The working contract was only for 5 weeks but the new found love for cycling (especially for wilderness cycling) he continued until now. Armed with ten years of content he will start to populate this site with tall tales, short tales and tourbike tales, tales from bicycles far and wide until the world says: STOP! ENOUGH!!! GOD DAMN IT!

But as long as someone is smiling and not taking things too seriously then the world will keep turning and smiling in return.
